Jars
The next generation of jar mixes. Use a wide-mouth pint canning jar.
Place a bag of dry mix in the jar -- also place a small can of fruit in
the jar. Make a new label for the fruit ("Anne's Apples", etc.).
The recipient makes a crisp or cobbler from your mix AND BAKES IT RIGHT
IN THE JAR. By giving this all in a canning jar, you are also giving them
the baking dish they need for the recipe. More recipes included are cakes,
pudding cakes, breads, chocolate fruit dip -- all baked in the jar!
*NOTE: This is not canned -- the jar is just serving as
a baking dish.
How-to Make:
- Take a wide-mouthed pint canning jar
- Add a snack size can of fruit & a baggie of mix
- Decorate the Jar any way you like
- The recipient bakes the recipe right in the jar (the jar serves as
the baking dish)
- Recipient serves & enjoys the recipe
